After the parliamentary elections held on April 1, 2018 and the board of directors elections held on 06.04.2018, I was elected as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Marmaris Branch of the IMEAK Chamber of Shipping. I am in the community of our Chamber, as I was also the vice president of the assembly at the Marmaris Branch of the IMEAK Chamber of Shipping.

Maritime is our ancestral profession, my grandfather is a former sponge diver and diver, and my father continued the same job until 76. We entered the yachting industry with the development of tourism in the early 80's. We started yachting with a 14-meter boat, and now we are serving with our 33, 35, 38 and 44 meter gulets.

Since 2002, I have been making a blue cruise with navy a, b, c, d boats and wooden gulets. I am also in the shipyard business. All my boats are my own production. I am married and I have a daughter studying at Bahçeşehir University, Department of Psychology, and a son studying at Piri Reis University, Maritime Deck Department. I speak intermediate Greek, German and English.

We became candidates for the Maritime Chamber of Commerce Marmaris Branch Presidency, with the slogan of "The Chamber of All of Us", with my friends from all branches of the maritime sector from every region, so that our chamber can provide better service to its members. We set out as we, not me, and we will strive to be a solution-oriented branch that adopts the mission of all of our branches, that our colleagues benefit from the branch in the most effective and efficient way, that develops projects for the development of our city and our colleagues with its active, transparent, participatory and fair representation. Although I have just come to office, both me and my fellow council members, people in our maritime sector, and the fact that our maritime cooperatives in our region are with us, therefore, as people who have one-to-one problems, we are not strangers to these problems. I would like to state that we will do our best to solve the problems, together with all my council members, after I take over the task. I wish that the 4 years we will spend together with all my colleagues in the assembly will be beneficial for our sector in order to carry our maritime tourism to the highest level.
